BEHIND THE BRAND

Tat and Koko was born out of the need for freedom. Dress in Israeli, Middle Eastern and new fashion, which unites many cultures and respect for the material. One that does not compromise on quality and gives room for a variety of aspects such as sexuality, art, criticism and language alongside emotion and warmth.
Our story began among the alleys of Karakoy in Istanbul. There we discovered creators and designers who filled us with inspiration. The resemblance to our space, here in Israel, which varies between conservatism and secularism and between local tradition and the youthful spirit, activated within us the energy to create personal images that come precisely from within the collective.  
Most are placed in the center and served as is. Some of them take a new form and critical interpretation and make the conventions unconventional.

We developed and selected the models, colors and cuts so that they would be adapted to the Israeli weather and according to our personal tastes and smells, hence the name TAT VE KOKU (taste and smell in Turkish).
The clothes are created in a responsible process, in private factories, which preserve the quality of the environment and avoid sweatshops and the like.
